Distractie este tot ceea ce defineste brandul - modelele HPI sunt renumite pentru durabilitate si calitate de top, dar mai ales pentru DISTRACTIE! Produsele HPI sunt folosite de hobbyisti de toate varstele, de la incepatori la entuziasti care au un gust aparte pentru ceva special.
Totul a inceput in 1986: cu o investitie minima si o groaza de munca, Tatsuro Watanabe a pus bazele companiei Hobby Products International in California de Sud. Gama initiala de produse a fost formata din accesorii de masini cum ar fi piese de grafit, roti si motoare.
Motoarele UNO au castigat si un titlu de Campionat Mondial in 1987, demonstrand ca HPI are tot ceea ce trebuie pentru a concura cu "baietii grei".
Acest succes rasunator a permis companiei HPI sa isi creasca gama de produse si in scurt timp sa lanseze primul kit proiectat de ei, Super F1 Formula.
Acesta a fost si momentul cand HPI a angajat doi dintre cei mai influenti designeri de automodele, oameni care au contribuit la creativitatea iesita din comun a proiectelor companiei. De aici, lucrurile s-au miscat foarte repede si doar inspre succesul rasunator al companiei.
Divizia HPI-HB de curse, ofera produse de cel mai inalt nivel de performanta si calitate, dedicate curselor profesionale de modelism sau celor care isi doresc produse de top in colectie.
